So, I FINALLY found some toluene in the Annapolis area. I found it at a Sherwin Williams. I'm disappointed at the price, however, at $17 per gallon. That's a price that doesn't really justify its usage as at that price I might as well buy straight race gas. For the time being it's good enough for experimenting purposes. I only purchased one gallon, so I will probably mix it with 4 gallons of fuel to make a 20% mix in a 5 gallon fuel container I have. I'm almost certain that will probably have minimal results. The next time around I'll create a 25% mixture and then a 33% mixture. I see the 33% mixture really being the magic number. In the meantime, I'm going to go hunting for a smaller business, maybe a wholesaler or something close, that I can get toluene for much cheaper. I'm shooting for $8 per gallon to be a reasonable price.
